Hi all,

Today we delivered 183 lbs of scrumptious fruits and veggies to the Bellingham Food Bank.  This was our last delivery for the season with lots of Asian pears, pears, apples, tomatoes, beets,peppers, cucumber, squash, eggplant and kale. We said our goodbyes to the food bank staff and planned our last of the season lunch get together for next week.  We sat for a while after harvest on Fran's deck taking in the warm sunshine and feeling like a job well done. Another season in the books. 🫑🫛🥬🌽🫐🍓🍅

Hi all,

We had 309 lbs of absolutely beautiful produce today. We donated our winter squash which made up a good part of those totals along with tomatoes, basil, peppers, summer squash, cucumbers and apples. Thank you to Sheri for her donation of Asian pears and apples from her house too. Another very satisfying delivery.  Feels so good to help those less fortunate.

Hello all!

64 pounds of produce delivered to Bellingham Food Bank. Apples, grapes, zucchini, kale, tomatoes, and anything I’m forgetting.

By the way, I stand corrected. The food bank is on Ohio Street, not Iowa. As soon as I came up to Iowa while on James Street, I knew it was the next light and a right turn onto Ohio.

Carol, hope all is going well with your tree trimming. You were missed today but we’ll see you next week.
