Hi Everyone -

Today we donated 101 lbs of gorgeous fruit and veggies to the food bank.   You may also like to know that our total donation for the year so far clocks in at 2,378 lbs!  Just imagine what that amounts to in work hours.   Thank you all so much for your enthusiasm and dedication.   It wouldn’t have happened without you and obviously, we ain’t done yet!

Hi Everyone,

We donated 50lbs of lovely fruit and vegetables to the food bank today.  And I ordered more baggies.  They will be here on Saturday!

In case anyone is interested to hear the podcasts I was raving about go to:  On Point npr.  The title is “The Longest War”.  There are four programs, each about forty five minutes long.  I highly recommend the first two.  Haven’t heard the last two yet.

Hi Everyone,

With huge amounts of help from friends of Sherri and Carol, we were able to donate an impressive 85 lbs of delicious fruits and veggies to the food bank today.  Sherri brought pears and Asian pears, and Carol brought apples, and I’m guessing that between them, they donated about 50 lbs.   So, many thanks to both friends, and to you two for schlepping them.
