"Today we donated 10 pounds of gorgeous lettuce to the food bank. I was at Barry Buchanan’s campaign event this evening and met someone who volunteers at the food bank. Linda said that our lettuce and rhubarb is so appreciated by the clients. They look forward to it! Pretty cool, no?"

"In spite of various and sundry downpours, our doughty group managed to harvest 59 lb of the most beautiful lettuce , kale, chard, snow peas and rhubarb today.  Next week the weeds had better watch out, as we will be on the warpath! "

our second garden has begun.....

"I delivered 9 pounds of lovely lettuce to the food bank yesterday. Their were people in front of the building waiting to get in. I like to think that some of them enjoyed our lettuce with their dinners last night."
