 Hi Everyone

We donated EXACTLY 300 lbs of mostly winter squash and Fran’s apples (plus a few peppers and tomatoes) to the food bank today.  Needless to say, our ‘weigher’ was pretty impressed.

Many thanks to Carol for carrying most of the heavy stuff.  My poor little Mini would have had to make at least three trips!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks to Fran’s prolific apple trees and to Sheri’s ditto Asian pear tree, we were able to donate an impressive 142 lbs of gorgeous fruit and veggies to the food bank today.   I wish you could have heard all the oo’s and aa’s our load brought forth from all the people who came to take a look.   Heart warming, to say the least.   I was very happy to see Max, who some of you might remember.  He used to be in charge of the food bank farm and the gleaning project.  Looks exactly the same, but no beard!
